Well... the quick version is... We use 10.2.0.3.0 instantclient to connect to 9.2.0.7.0 instance no problemo. Our Remedy server is running with this now.
I can't get same 10.2.0.3.0 instantclient to connect to 10.2.0.1.0 RAC cluster, but the 10.2.0.1.0 fat client works. I wonder if there is an old 10.2.0.1.0 instanclient...
