We're 10-20% of the way into our implementation of Service Desk 7.0 (ie.
our feet are wet, but we have a looooong way to go).
As a stepping stone, we recently upgrade from ARS 6.3 to 7.0.00p2 I've
done several other ARS upgrades, and until now, all have gone very
smoothly. This one was problematic, and we're still ironing out bugs.
I recognize that an ARS upgrade and an ITSM application install (we're
doing an install since an upgrade from 4 to 7 is just too.... icky) are
entirely different animals, but it's got us wondering if the SD 7
install has gone relatively pain free for most people or if it has also
suffered from a lot of installation glitches.
Therefore at this point, I'm really just looking to identify someone
who's been through a similar path to this and can now look back at it
and ponder
- how well did it all go
- would you have done anything differently now that it's all done.
