I am burnt out today. What I am trying to do is make a field read only for everyone except the Help Desk and managers during modify. So this will keep the fields read/write during submit and search. Would it make more sense to just have an error message show when someone not in these groups trying to make a change? The reason I have to do this is we have had some people changing the request to them self's when they think they will get a bad survey.
