We had similar problems after applying Patch 20 to our Mid-Tier (Red Hat Linux), after using the "file replace" method. After reapplying the patch using the installer script, the missing library errors did not occur. If you use this method to apply the patch to your Mid-Tier, just make sure to select "other" when prompted for the Web Server and JSP engine information by the installer script, so that this information is not overwritten.

Greetings everyone, We just applied Patch 20 to our ARS system. (HPUX-11 server, Oracle 9.2 db, previously Patch 14). We followed the directions for the substitution method, and copied the files that they listed. But when we restarted the system we got "/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't find path for shared library: libicudatabmc.sl.32". So we moved "libicudatabmc.sl.32" over to the "bin" folder, and it complained about another library. So we moved all the "bmc" libraries over. Now the system starts and seems to be working. But there are dozens of libraries in the patch folders that we haven't moved because the directions don't say to. Will Daylight Savings Time calculate correctly without them, and why are they there if they aren't needed?
