Misi: There has to be a way to do #2 since this is served up through the REMEDY.ARDBC.SERVER.ADMINISTRATION vendor form plugin (form is AR System Administration: License Review). Haven't had a chance to experiment with the api calls to fetch this info, but maybe something is broken/not documented in the appropriate api calls.

Hi, BUGs in the AR System prevent us to track the application licenses in a satisfactory. There are three major bugs in version 7 concerning the application licenses. I have submitted tickets to support about it, but would urge all of you to do the same, in order to give it its due priority! 1. Application licenses (version 7 applications only) should report license utilization to the user-log-file. They do not! 2. Application licenses (version 7 applications only) should be reported through the API, but return garbage instead of the correct information. Run the driver-program against your server to see for yourself. The driver-commands to use is (init, log and glu). 3. The last access time (for each application) should be reported through the API. This value is not set, at least for the normal Write-license. The value is NOT printed by the driver program by default. You need to recompile the driver program with the following added to the end of the function PrintARUserLicenseStruct() print.c in order for you to check this: PrintARTimestamp(" Last access:", value->lastAccess); Note that for a user to "grab" his/her Floating Application License, you need to open and do something (i.e. search) in one of the forms tagged for the specific application. Also note that application versions prior to 7.x does not make use of the built in license functionality, so they will never report anything to the user-log or through the API. Please let me know if you have any other input on this topic!
