Robert,

The Clarify system belongs to another group, so I'm not at all sure if
they can or will construct a view.  I would imagine that an export file
or data dump would have been easiest for all involved.  However, I am
certain that they are using Web Services.

Doing it again today, I would also consider constructing a view inside
Clarify DB that does all the joins for you (Incident to People, Site,
Company, xxx - with what ever data you need), and then create a view
form in Remedy to pull the data from.

Also, as an option, in '99 they were doing their 2nd release of Web
Services, so if you have that deployed on Clarify, you could potentially
access the data from that point as well.

So as you can see, there are multiple options, based upon what you had
deployed with Clarify... Web services might be the easiest 'foreign
connector' so to say...
