Nisha,

With version 6.x Archiving was added to Form Prosperities. Here you
define the name of the Archive form, archive attachments, archive
diaries, when to archive, and a qualification for what to archive. When
this is enabled, the system makes a copy of the form and sets ups the
mapping of the fields between the forms. Adding/deleting fields to the
form results in the same change on the archive form.

We have setup an Archive Date field that we set with workflow and let
the built in archiving process handle archive and in our case delete the
record from the source form.

So yes, you can setup workflow on for all the forms that will handle the
archiv8ing for you.

Subject: Basic Help!

**
Hello Listers,

I have a basic query. Is it possible to change the properties of a
regular form through some workflow? To elaborate further, can I use an
active link/filter/escalation to modify the properties of a form?
I have a form which has more than 600 fields. Now this form has many
tables etc. which are taking data from some other regular forms. I want
to now enable archiving for this main form. So instead of manually
modifying all related forms and enable individual archiving, can I just
modify the properties of forms in bulk and enable archiving through some
workflow?

Thanks.

Rgds,
Nisha Ramtri
