I think the same logic could be applied on the "main form" without the
need for a "display only form" too.

* create a new display only form
* create a field on it to store the EID and some for the user and group
* point the url to this display only form and populate the EID field
* create workflow to find out in which group the current $USER$ is, g1 or g2
* create more workflow to open the appropriate EID and view on your
destination form, and close your display only form.
