I think the same logic could be applied on the "main form" without the need for a "display only form" too.

Hi Serouche. You can achieve this as follows: * create a new display only form * create a field on it to store the EID and some for the user and group * point the url to this display only form and populate the EID field * create workflow to find out in which group the current $USER$ is, g1 or g2 * create more workflow to open the appropriate EID and view on your destination form, and close your display only form. Good luck! -- Met vriendelijke groet / Kind regards Michiel Beijen ______________________________________________________ MANSOLUTIONS Energieweg 60-62 3771 NA Barneveld The Netherlands Tel. +31-(0)612968592 Mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] Internet http://bsm.mansolutions.nl On 4/5/07, Serouche Rahimpour <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Dear listers, > > probably on my last post I wasn't clear enough. > So here we go trying to be clearer: > > ARS 6.00.01 patch 1454 > mid-tiers 6.03 patch 13 > > I have a form with 3 views : A, B and C > > I have 2 groups of users: g1 and g2 > > I would like to provide my users the same hyperlink with values such as > ticket-id (eid) and server-name (server), to connect to view A. > > Upon window open (or any other event I will have to find), I would like > to check on that "common" view A enough information about the user to > redirect this person to either view B or view C to display the ticket ID > eid. > > Problem : I don't see how to do this. > > Any help/ idea/ suggestion is very welcomed. > > Thank you sharing your knowledge. > > Serouche
