List Price varies based on a lot of factors, so it's best to contact your local BMC sales representative for specifics. In general, it runs somewhere around $10K USD. -David J. In your environment of AR System 7.0.00; if you are unlicensed, the first 5 flashboards displayed work fine. The 6th flashboard requested for display will produce the error you see. There is no way to give "priority" to a flashboard - i.e. the licenses are used up in the order of the flashboards created and you can't say "I want to use my 5 free instances for these 5 flashboards". First come first served... That's why the KB says that you can restart the system and display a new flashboard - since upon restart, the number of displayed drops back to 0 and if you immediately bring up the flashboard you wanted, you'll get one of the 5 free instances. Buy the flashboard server license and you have unlimited display capability for flashboards. It is not linked to user or number of flashboards defined on the system. Rather than playing roulette with which flashboards might get displayed, it's recommended that folks just buy the license. In fact, for ITSM applications, it's pretty much required. I don't really remember what the old scheme was. There used to be a separate tool to develop the flashboards as well, when they moved that into the admin tool, they changed the licensing model.
