Gary,

What is your Push Fields If qualification (if any)? In a few rare cases
in 6.3 I found that certain fields weren't populated by workflow in the
Mid-tier or these fields may not be available after submit (values no
longer in cache)

If its possible you could try pushing the values you want to utilize to
a temp field On Submit, then push them from the tmp fields after
submit...

May or may not help...I just wanted to throw out some ideas.

Cheers!

Actually, the AL is running.

EVENT: After Submit
ActiveLink: <Name has been concealed to protect the innocent>
True actions:
After submit phase 2
Field_Defaults(1,0,0)
EVENT: ClearChangeFlag

Above are the logs from my mid-tier client side logging.

It shows it fires, and then defers to phase 2 (although it never does
say its doing a push-fields), but I never can see where it actually goes
back for phase 2. I just re-checked in the WUT and it does work, just
not in the Mid-Tier.

One last question...

Have you refreshed the cache for the Mid Tier server (that's the one
that usually gets me).

It doesn't look like the AL is even firing. I'm using the AR LogUtility
or whatever the popup is so that I can log in the mid-tier, and I'm
assuming that that utility can catch an after-submit AL action.

The AL is never even showing up.

It is enabled. It has permission on it, as does my user account. Also,
my user account has permissions to the sub-form to which the entry is
being pushed.

Everything works fine in the FAT client, just not in the IE client.

Any ideas?

Gary :

Does the AL fire at all? You might want to toss a message into the if
action just to make sure the AL is firing when you believe it should.

Subject: Mid-Tier, After Submit, and Push Fields

All, I have an active link that runs on After Submit on the Mid-Tier.
The active link does (or at least is supposed to do) a Push-Fields to
another schema to create a ticket. Through looking at my logs, it is not
even trying to do the push fields.

Will push fields not work on after submit action active links on the
mid-tier?

Thanks for the help!
