Ardbc plugin don't need webservice plugin, but both are using the same RPC queue defined by Plugin-Filter-API-Threads (after verification in the doc)
I don't know why, but when I had this problem I did the following tests : * Web service plugin & ardbc plugin loaded : web services & overview console aren't working. * Ardbc plugin loaded without webservice plugin : overview console works. * Web service loaded without ardbc plugin : web services works. At this time, it was for demo purpose so, I had just disabled the plugin I don't use in the demo... :) Since that, I had no time to test/log and show what happens... One thing that I had no time to test is to increase threads configuration because webservice plugin consume 2 threads and you can have a deadlock situation by running out of threads... ________________________________ De : Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] De la part de Rick Cook Envoyé : mardi 22 mai 2007 23:06 À : arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Objet : Re: IM 7.x Overview Console times out Why would I need to have a Web Services parameter for an ARDBC function? If there is a need for it, is it just an entry in ar.cfg (after creating the queue)? I am on 7.0.2 Patch 3. Did you specify the Plugin-Private-RPC configuration parameter for Web services with 2 threads too? Do you have 4 max threads for List and Fast? It's a lot for a non environment but I already had this problem. (RedHat EL 4 / Oracle 10gR2 / AR System 7.0.1 P1 with French / ITSM 7.0.2 P2 French) For me it works with patch 3 of ITSM 7 (on Suse EL 9) with this server configuration. With the patch 2 (on RHEL 4), the only way I found it's to not load the web service plugin to have a running Overview Console. Maybe it can help... Anybody overcome this issue? I didn't find a KB entry to cover this. The only one even close said it would be addressed in 7.0 P3, and I'm on 7.0.2 P3 already.
