We are currently searching for a full time Remedy Developer. The
position is within our research & development team and involves pure
development, with very little daily administration. Integration skills
will be a key factor! This is a fast paced environment with constant
challenges to keep things interesting. Be prepared to measure up to your
peers as we have a very strong existing Remedy team.

 

Manages and provides technical guidance to the staff in the development,
maintenance and the integration of a corporate and business system
architectures. Supervises, guides and provides technical support and
training to the systems architecture staff and assists the manager in
the review and evaluation of the work of the staff, planning, organizing
and controlling the activities of the section and in the development of
the overall project plans and timetables. Leads the architecture staff
in the development, specification and communication of the firm's
technology architecture plan and the infrastructure components required
to support it. Consults with IT and client management in the development
of tactical systems plans and directions to assure the integration of
the corporate and distributed and/or client server business area
architectures. Advises on systems development opportunities that can be
utilized or adapted to meet business area objectives. Assists in all
levels of supervision and may perform management functions in the
absence of the manager or may act as project manager for major projects.
Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior
management. Provides solutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related
discipline with an advanced degree preferred and 5 - 8 years experience
in information systems architecture methodologies, or an equivalent
combination of education and work experience. Requires an extensive
knowledge of systems architecture, excellent consultative and
communications skills, the ability to work effectively with client and
IT management and staffs, management skills and a strong analytical

This candidate must be high-functioning in the Remedy 7.X/Oracle
environment. Complete comfort in 100% custom-developed environments is
essential. The position requires an ability to construct external
integrations outside of the AR System space through the use of industry
standard web services and other available tools.

The ideal indivisual will be self-managed, with the capability to take
custom design projects from front-end business requirements through
completion. 

The candidate must have a RAC/RSP certification OR be able to prove
commensurate work/project experience.

Preferred Qualification: 
Basic Solaris, Oracle, and reporting skills are advantageous, but not
required if a demonstrated skill within Remedy is sufficient.

 

Preferred Location: Ideally the candidate will reside in Atlanta,
Georgia with a secondary preference of Dallas, Texas, but for the
correct applicant virtual office could be considered.
