Admin tool
  Group (object)
Then flip through the tabs and look for stuff that the group
object has explicit access to.

As a quick fix idea...
Add all members of both groups to both groups.
--> All members of A also become members of B.
--> All members of B also become members of A.

Then at a later time you can find all object references to B and
replace that reference with an A.
Then at an even later time (like when you get some free time) you can
remove all users that are members from B. (Since it will no longer be
granting them anything.)

However, also be mindful of Field 112(Assignee Group, and the extended
60000-60999 field IDs) field values too. So do not just remove
reference in the ARS Server objects. You might have workflow(set field
values that were hard coded over the years) and data records that need
updated too.
