I don't think 7.1.00 FTS will work with AR System 7.0.01 server since the libraries have been updated in SS 6.0. It certainly wouldn't be supported and would be considered "unconfirmed" even if it did work. BMC didn't do any forward compatibility testing with FTS (i.e. 7.0.01 Server with 7.1.00 FTS). It was expected that if you needed FTS 7.1.00 that you'd update the server at the same time.
I'll make a note to update this in the compatibility matrix during the next revision of the matrix to make this more clear. Thanks, -David J.
