Hello Listers, ARS 6.3 Patch 021 MS SQL Server 2000
I am trying to use a Filter Guide table loop to select certain children records for inclusion in a Notification email. The children are created via AL Pushes during the entry of a new record. When the Submit occurs I use a Filter Guide Table loop to concatenate children data into a character filed. This works fine because I am copying ALL of the children. I have set up a zTMPNotificationString filed to use in the On Submit phase of a Notify Filter. What I need is to be able to only copy a few of the children to send along in the notification string. I tried using the EXTERNAL($table_qual$) to run through the loop. I change the qualification in the $table_qual$ field so I should get the selected children but they ALL get SET by the second table loop which is called by a second Filter Guide. TIA, John J.
