What you can use for any custom forms or if you have ITSM you would add
a field with field ID 112 (In ITSM 7.02 it is called Assignee Groups).
In addition to this field you would set up the filters to basically do
the following:

Change the Permission of the Request ID or Entry ID field (basically the
field with ID of 1) to not have permission to public or even Submitter
but only mainly to the group "Assignee Group".
This special group basically is dynamically determined based on what
group ID(s) are placed in field 112.

Using the Assigned to Group that was set in the ticket (lets say it is
HR Employee Relations) you would lookup and find the Group ID for that
group in the Group form and return the group ID value in the field 112
that you would have created.

So basically when the ticket gets assigned to HR Employee Relations
which say has group ID 70001 then you would place 70001 and a ";" in the
field 112 and when the ticket is submitted basically only anyone who is
a member of the HR Employee Relations group and Administrators can see
those tickets.

Im not sure if BMC has a whitepaper or document on this but they can
also help as well if you have questions about this.

Subject: Access Control Between Support Groups

**
Hi All

I am trying to implement access control for below scenario....i have two
groups, HR and IT Security, who will be using the Incident Management
module who deal with sensitive information. They would like for only
people in the same support group as them to be able to view any ticket
assigned to them. To complicate matters a little more, the regular help
desk might would start the ticket for either of these groups. I
understand that Multi-Tenancy would be one way to handle this using
separate companies for HR, and IT Security. But customer want to go only
with sinlge tenance... are there any other options might exist for
accommodating this requirement...any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Vijay
