Has anyone out there ever tried to utilize OLE to convert .csv files to .xls files? I've been trying to use the example on Gidd's website, but I think I have something wrong.
I can get it to convert the .csv file to an .xls file, but it basically seems to be putting all the data in a single cell with the data being separated by a comma. I would have expected it to display the data as it would have the original .csv file, with all the data separated into the rows and columns. Does anyone have any pointers for me on this? I'm open to any suggestions. I just need to be able to have Remedy generate a report and save it in the .xls format. I really don't care about the field formatting or anything like that.
