Good morning all,

I'm looking at developing some Advanced Interface forms for SRM, and was
wondering if anyone has a set of best practices or any tips that might
be good to keep in mind. I have a basic understanding of how SRM works,
and built one Advanced Interface form that works to create Incidents
already just as a test. However, it still seems a bit strange to me and
I want to make sure that I don't do it wrong.

Basically, I need to develop some forms that have child forms that store
other data, then push all that into Change Management and create tasks
based on those child records. I have some ideas on how to do that, but
I want to make sure I do it the "SRM way", if that exists.

I have a strong ARS development background, and am able to support ITSM
apps, but it seems strange to me to purchase an OOTB application that
you are required to "customize" like this yet the rest of the ITSM apps
they tell you to not customize or you will break patches.

Thanks,

Shawn Pierson
