Previous company I was working at did it on a Solaris/Oracle platform with Shareplex. Had 2 production servers replicating down to their own reporting servers as well as the two production server replicating between each other. Had pretty much as close to real time replication as you can get. As Rick said though, the Oracle DBA was well versed in the Remedy architecture and how the backend worked.

This means that we would have two separate instances of remedy on separate databases. I went through a little work of trying this a while back but we had trouble with performance and the database replication did not like the Request Id field as the unique identifier. I don't remember the specifics it has been a little while back. We need to have both servers up at all times for reporting needs and live production system. Has anybody ever done something like this? If so what platform and apps did you use to do the transfer? I just want to make sure that someone has done this before so that I know that it can be done.
