Pretty new to newScale here too, but one of the things we have observed here in your environment is that it tends to leave open database connections. Everytime it polls it opens a new connection and leaves it open at the end and does not re-use it.
Reminds me of what EIE did, I hear AIE has been fixed as far as that is concerned. But at least in case of EIE, there was a service we use a batch file to turn off when not needed which used to kill the database connection. In case of newScale that is not really an option as the ideal thing to do is leave it running so the Remedy database and the newScale database is most current at all times.. How does it compare to Remedy's SRM? Does anyone recommend one over the other? If anyone has any knowledge they want to impart, please let me know. -scott No virus found in this outgoing message.
