We did something similar by building a staging table, importing the
updated records to that table, then using workflow to match the records
with the BMC table and push certain fields.

Subject: Mass data modifications without EIE

Hi all...
Does anyone know of a way to update a large number of records in the
BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem form without using EIE/AIE? I have all the
changes in a csv file, with the updated records RequestIDs included.
The import tool doesn't work in ITSM evidently. Any advice is
appreciated. Thanks!!
