Thanks everyone!  I figured it out.  I had to put the @ symbol in the
table name field.   So it's:

access to the Database, but did not have proper access to the table I
was trying to build the view against.  Talk to your DBA and make sure
that not only can they see the table in the SQL Developer, but can
