OS The operating system of the machine on which a process is running. You can use this keyword to build workflow that executes conditionally based on the current operating system. Web applications do not support the $OS$ keyword; it will return NULL. VERSION The software version running on the client (active links) or server (filters and escalations). This keyword includes any applicable patch number. Note: The $VERSION$ keyword might not be interpreted correctly in workflow running on pre-5.0 UNIX user tool clients. Use the $OS$ keyword in qualifications to detect UNIX user tool clients. Regards Dave Morgan Dave, I am aware of the Version keyword and I do check for it. What I am trying to do is warn users who have Vista installed on their PC to upgrade to V7.0.1 if they are running V7.0.0 or earlier. I am wanting to include the word 'Vista' in the the message window, but how can I definitely tell that they are running Vista if the OS string is the same for Windows 2003 and Vista?
