> Did I miss something, there is no support of 64 bit Oracle or Windows (other then in 32 bit mode on a 64 bit box) or is it just too early? 64-bit Oracle databases are currently supported as remote databases in the existing versions of AR System. As per the compatibility matrix, Oracle does support a 32-bit DB client to communicate with a 64-bit database. However, a 64-bit Oracle database client would be needed when running AR System 7.5.00 on UNIX or Linux since the AR System server executable itself will be 64-bit. Windows 64-bit native execution is not expected to be part of this release. We expect that native 64-bit execution support for the AR System server on Windows will be part of a future release. As you mention, 64-bit Windows operating systems will continue to be supported in 32-bit compatibility mode as the AR System server executable will continue to be 32-bit on Windows platforms. -David J. This will help drive updates that will then be made available in the open beta. BMC will be accepting a limited number of participants into closed beta based on qualifications. The primary qualifications for the closed beta are: * Willingness to test and provide feedback to BMC every two weeks until open beta starts. * Ability to test AR System 7.5.00 both with and without ITSM and CMDB. * Potential for testing on broad set of operating systems and environments. * Potential to become a reference customer for AR System 7.5.00. <http://7.5.00./> The closed beta will be by invitation only, so you will need to work with your Sales or Field representative to get nominated.
