I don't think that's an indication of corruption -- fields "leaking through" views is a fairly common occurrence if you're not careful about view creation and modification.
Does the Admin tool crash on other machines when this form is opened? -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Christopher Blue Sent: Friday, July 11, 2008 10:15 AM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: Re: Display Only Form Crashing Admin Tool No, it's the 7.1 admin tool. I think the form is currupt because when I diplay it in the user tool I am seeing a field from another view of the form, as if it "leaked" across views. *********** Are you sure you're not attempting to open the display only with an old version of the Admin tool? If, for example, you create a display only with version 7.x but then try to open it with a 6.x Admin tool, that can cause you trouble, big time. -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Christopher Blue Sent: Friday, July 11, 2008 10:07 AM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: Display Only Form Crashing Admin Tool Hello list - I was making a change to a display only form yesterday and it looks like it may have become corrupted. it still displays and works on the user tool and web and shows up in the admin tool object list but when I try to open it crashes the admin tool. I was going to have our DBA look at it but we can't find it or the other display only forms in the DB. Does anyone know where they are stored? Any tips for opening or repairing a form that won't open in the admin tool?
