Hi Lisa,

The matrices are up to date and correct.

SQL Server 2005 is listed as supported in AR System 7.0.01 and 7.1.00

Windows 2008 is not yet supported by a released version of AR System.
The current policy is mentioned in the compatibility matrix as well:

"Support Policy for later versions of vendor products released after AR
System 7.1.00

In the case of major and minor releases, unless otherwise stipulated by
written communication from BMC Software, the goal is to provide support
for new major or minor version changes in the next available version of
BMC Remedy products after the vendor makes their release generally
available. However, major architectural changes may take longer to
tolerate and exploit and other business or technical reasons may require
a
different release timeframe."

Compatibility matrices can be found here:

Subject: ARS 7.0 or 7.1 Compatibility Information Needed

The compatibility tool on the BMC site does not contain information
about compatibility with the latest versions of Windows (2008) and SQL
(2005).
Does anyone know if the matrix is just out of date, or if ARS 7.0 and
7.1 are not compatible with the latest versions?

Thank you,
LisaD
