Remedy Admin, Falls Church VA, start date immediate. What this person
will do:

*       Provide Tier 2/3 application troubleshooting, problem-solving,
and support for Consular Affairs (Department of State) Remedy
applications (Help Desk and custom applications) and knowledgebase
tools, including web-based call tracking services.
*       Provide Tier 2 server troubleshooting and routine maintenance
*       Perform Remedy administration, including user account
maintenance, group memberships, notifications, CTIs.
*       Create and update tickets in Remedy.
*       Monitor ticket workload and actively pursue and coordinate
resolution.
*       Write customer notifications for planned and unplanned outages.
*       Support, create, and generate customized operational reports and
macros using Remedy and COTS products such as Crystal Reports and
Business Objects
*       Document and maintain operating procedures and system
specifications/configurations.
*       Support Remedy training requirements.

Clearance, Education and years of experience minimum requirements: 

*       Bachelor degree with 6 years of experience in systems analysis
or programming, including 4 years experience with large-scale databases.
OR
*       Master's degree with 4.5 years experience in systems analysis or
remedy programming, including 3 years exp with large-scale database.
*       Must have a clearance or be eligible to get one (prior NAC a
must if no clearance)

Specific skills to look for:

*       Remedy Administration (6.x), including Help Desk, Asset
Management, Change Management
*       Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strongly desired:

*       Experience with Remedy Knowledge Management (a.k.a. KMR).
*       ITIL certification, or experience implementing ITIL processes,
or experience working in an ITIL compliant environment
*       Experience with Remedy 7.x (ITSM)

Pay Rate:

on a salary 75-77K annual with PTO or W2 hourly equivalent of $37-42.00
per hour with no PTO --- HIGHER PAY REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
