Administrator working within the IT department of a Consumer Goods firm
located in Westchester County New York responsible for the systems
administration of REMEDY 7.x ITSM suite of applications (Incident,
Change, Problem, Asset Management). Knowledge of REMEDY 2.x CMDB and
ITSM 7.x Asset Management. Administration (creation, modification, and
archival) of company, support group, location, workflow, and user data.
Resolution of data discrepancies (e.g., duplicate records, personnel
details updates). Creation and delivery of training sessions
demonstrating the out-of-the-box and customized features and
functionalities.
Perform REMEDY integration with third party software including Kinetic
Data and Hitachi ID Suite. Requirements gathering for REMEDY
implementation to new locations and business units. Knowledge of "best
practices" in functional areas and ability to apply REMEDY knowledge to
add value to client implementations. ITIL Foundation Certification (or
equivalent knowledge).
Skills: B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science, related field, or
equivalent work experience Requires 3+ years of experience working
within the ITSM arena. Requires 1-3 years of REMEDY experience. The
ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience working in a REMEDY
environment. An in-depth understanding of ITSM and the ITIL framework.
Experience with Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and PeopleSoft
preferred. Experience with Kinetic Data products a plus. ITIL
certification is a plus. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving,
decision-making, and interpersonal skills; oral and written
communication and presentation skills.
