I would go with armonitor.conf . Ref: "ConfigGuide-630.pdf" Pg 307.

The example is this...
"
Environment-variable: ARDATEONLY=MM/dd/yyyy
"

But it sounds like you want this...
"
Environment-variable: ARDATEONLY=dd/dmm/yyyy
"

Add it in the file before the arserved is spawned and you should be
good to go. Just stop and start the ARServer.
