We are on Oracle 10g running on HP UX.   We need to upgrade before moving 
to IBM AIX.

It would help if you would state what OS and DB (Also if you are using any 
Remedy applications like ITSM).

We recently did this. 
 First we pushed out the 7.1.0 patch 004 client to the users 
 We were already on Oracle 10g so no change there 
 We were on Solaris 8 so we had to upgrade to Solaris 9 or 10 (We did 10)  

 We do not use any of the canned applications (pure custom shop) 
 The Upgrade took about 90 minutes (since it has to go thru each form and 
update the size of each Created_By and Last_modified_By field)
