IMHO, this are left overs (bugs) that did not get upgraded with the new links of the 7.5 cmdb console. I don't think BMC planned to leave the old links there in the Application Administration Console, it would not make sense

You just need top open the CMDB:Console form directly. According to BMC support, this is fully supported. The configuration data forms have apparently not changed in 7.5, that's why you can use the 2.1 console. The 7.5 CMDB console is essentially a new GUI (very snazzy BTW). The cmdb product manager deserves much praise for this: it's already a fair learning curve to know and use the 2.x cmdb console functions effectively, so thankfully that knowledge and know-how is not thrown away with the 7.5 cmdb manager. It is very smart and forward looking to decouple the "functional" and "presentation" layers, so kudos to whoever it was. -Guillaume __Platinum Sponsor: RMI Solutions ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are" html___ _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor: RMI Solutions ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are" _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor: RMI Solutions ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are"
