Sure.  Plugins are loaded by the plugin server and are a single file with a
.a, .so, or .dll depending on your OS and are registered in ar.conf/ar.cfg,
again, depending on your OS.  Some of the plugins from BMC require certain
forms to be present to install the plugin (AREA configuration form, etc.).
