Thanks, Dan.

Would you consider extending the early bird registration deadline until
sometime after the site is set? Some might have to combine them on their
travel request, and some might base their decision on the venue selected.

Hi Rick,

Good questions, glad you asked,
I'll answer them here and as we finalize details
they will appear on the web site (so I guess I have to
add some of these answers there somewhere)

1) Everything mentioned is included
tutorials, sessions, vendor fair, evening events etc.

We made a concious decision to keep it simple with
one fee for everything, and no additional cost events.

In the current economic climate we thought the value had to be clear,
and I believe when you look at what we put together it is.

Up to 3 hour long tutorials on specific current areas related to
ARSystem7.5, and one hour sessions that will be on various
topics and as technical as you want to get

2) A venue should be decided by the end of May if not sooner.
We have a short list and will be on site in a couple of weeks to
check them out in person. Their porposals certainly reflect the
current economy.

3) Yes there will be special conference rates, quite reasonable
but since we have a short list of venues, I can't be specific yet

4) The Sessions will have a variety of people, Phil Bautista should
open the call for papers soon. We are finalizing the concept of a
Vendor Track for vendor specific presentations by the vendors.

Phil should respond to detailed questions about the Sessions.

Tutorials will be taught by Lenny Warren and others, and Lenny should
respond with details on them.

Longer tutorials will be in the mornings,
One hour Sessions in the afternoons

5) As mentioned, we will have a Vendor track

The current tentative schedule and list of tutorials is available on the web
site,
and you can go via www.wwrug.com to get directly to the registration page.

There is a link on the left hand side to get to the documents.

Hope to see you all in Las Vegas!

..... Daniel

Some questions you might answer on the site, Dan:

1) What is included (and not included) in the registration price?
2) When will a venue be decided upon?
3) Any special deals on rooms (in this economy, I would think so)?
4) Who will be teaching the sessions and tutorials?
5) Are you looking for partner involvement at more than the vendor fair?
(i.e. teaching sessions)

I will remind people of this event at our local RUG on Monday.
