Yes Multiple selection of tables is allowed (This is controlled by the Field Properties -> Advanced Display -> Single Selection Allowed and User Selection Allowed checkboxes). You can then trigger the action with a button on the form or the Return Table or Level Double Click action. You will have to write your own workflow to collect the list of selected rows (I have done this with a Guide that does a Table Loop on Selected Rows Only)
