Well, we finally got somebody good on the phone from BMC.  Man I hate
having to deal w/ their first level support.  Crazy how bad it is and
they won't escalate, it took hours!!!!

Anyway, we figured out it was a bad AL guide.  It hadn't been modified,
not sure what happened but it was corrupted.  We restored from another
server and the problem was resolved.  I'lll spend all next week doing
root cause analysis and in meetings now because of the outage :-(.
