At a former position a team I worked with utilized Java to perform
interfacing to the rest of the world and the mainframe world. I don't know
the specifics, but I do work regularly with the Remedy Java API, so that
will likely be a good interface point.

Hello list,

We are currently operating IBM Mainframe Systems (IBM Z10's with O/S
ZOS1.10) with a mainframe based application called InfoManager. The
InfoManager Application is used for Change Management and Problem Management
Reporting called PMR's. Application failures on the mainframe auto-create
PMR's. We are planning to replace the Change Management function within our
Remedy ARS 7.5 platform and investigating alternatives to replace the PMR
functionality with a direct interface between the Mainframe and our Remedy
Infrastructure.
