This won't work. There is no AR server for Solaris that will connect MS SQL.
If you want to use this db you'll have to use a Windows AR server. If you
stick with the Solaris AR server your db choices are Oracle, DB2, Informix or
Sybase.

Subject: MS SQL 2008 with ARS 7.5

**
Hi Listers,

I am going to install ARS 7.5 with ITSM 7.5 and CMDB 7.5 using MS SQL 2008
database. The Remedy server will be installed on Sun Solaris server and the MS
SQL 2008 DB will be installed on Windows server. I would like to know if there
are any compatiblity issues while using MS SQL 2008 DB with ARS 7.5. Also
please let me know if MS SQL DBs require a DB client to connect to Remedy.

Thanks in advance!
