I'm not sure this will help your problem specifically or how common this
knowledge is, but TomCat was the first product I ran into a problem with
the install because the TEMP variable has spaces in it. This problem
exist in several BMC products as well, so the first thing I do before
starting an install is change TMP andd TEMP too something like C:\Temp.
Also there are some products that do not like to install into a folder
with spaces either.

me to give JSP engine, i said other and will download it later.
Now I am in trouble because TOMCAT website's installer need 64 bit
java and AR 7.5 patch 003 doesn't support java 64 bits.
talked to BMC support and they recommended that uninstall the
mid-tier and run the installer again to install mid-tier along
with TOMCAT. when i did that, it gave me an error that "INVALID
TOMCAT INSTALLATION FOLDER".
if anyone know what am i doing wrong, please let me know ASAP
because i still have to install CMDB and all ITSM features. and
everything is depend on CMDB which is depend on MID TIER and TOMCAT.
