Jaya, In my experience, this error is not related to Load balancing.that will simply cause you issues with invalid session. This problem is as you said, either their IP is changing, or they are closing their browser without logging out and re-opening a new browser and trying to re-connect.
From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:arsl...@arslist.org] On Behalf Of Jaya Munjal Sent: Wednesday, September 08, 2010 8:32 AM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: ARERR 9093 Importance: High ** Hi List We have 2 mid-tier servers (WINDOWS 2003, IIS, Servlet Exec) configured in a load balancer. Over the last few days we have started getting ARERR 9084 or ARERR 9093 while accessing Remedy application over the mid-tier. This is happening for some users only while others are able to work fine. We have checked with our network team and the sticky config for the load balancer is in place and the IP address of user machines are not changing. We have also tried comparing the header content being passed for affected users with the correct users and there is no significant difference observed. Releasing the license of the user's session is not helping in this case and the affected users are currently unable to access the web app. An extract of the error log is given below: ARERROR LOG ================= Wed Sep 8 14:42:40 2010 Client already connected - username:fm\rocks, client-type:Mid-tier, existing-IP:819b0da5e2f6feaf:1fe4169:12adc96f135:-7b77, new-IP:4058a39a0464db45:5bf624:12adc568e40:-79ad - User has Override option Wed Sep 8 14:44:52 2010 390635 : User is currently connected from another machine (ARERR 9093) Wed Sep 8 14:44:52 2010 Client already connected - username:fm\smedlej, client-type:Mid-tier, existing-IP:4058a39a0464db45:5bf624:12adc568e40:-7bac, new-IP:4058a39a0464db45:5bf624:12adc568e40:-79aa - User has Override option Wed Sep 8 14:44:53 2010 390635 : User is currently connected from another machine (ARERR 9093) Wed Sep 8 14:44:53 2010 Client already connected - username:fm\smedlej, client-type:Mid-tier, existing-IP:4058a39a0464db45:5bf624:12adc568e40:-7bac, new-IP:4058a39a0464db45:5bf624:12adc568e40:-79aa - User has Override option Wed Sep 8 14:44:53 2010 390620 : User is currently connected from another machine (ARERR 9093) Wed Sep 8 14:44:53 2010 Client already connected - username:fm\smedlej, client-type:Mid-tier, existing-IP:4058a39a0464db45:5bf624:12adc568e40:-7bac, new-IP:4058a39a0464db45:5bf624:12adc568e40:-79aa - User has Override option =================================== Platform ARS 6.3 Patch 24 Mid Tier - 6.3 Patch 24 DB - Sybase OS - Unix Any pointer in resolving this issue would be highly appreciated.
