Hi Peter,

If "Footprints" is consuming web-service then yes, you can specify appropriate
permission on WSDL file itself(go to Permissions Tab on WSDL interface in Admin
tool). Also, you can create a user with proper permissions and ask "Footprints"
to pass that username/password in SOAP Envelope (I believe its authentication
parameters in WSDL file). That way you can control what "Footprints" can have
access to. If no username/password is passed, then automatically the permission
of user configured on mid-tier is taken into consideration.

HTH.

Thanks
Chintan.

Hi,
it’s ok!

The tool used by my customer is called FootPrints. Do you know it? Do you have
any suggestions to create this integration correctly? For example, to use ws
have I to define a dedicated user with accurate permissions?

Thanks in advance.
 Peter
