Hi Peter, If "Footprints" is consuming web-service then yes, you can specify appropriate permission on WSDL file itself(go to Permissions Tab on WSDL interface in Admin tool). Also, you can create a user with proper permissions and ask "Footprints" to pass that username/password in SOAP Envelope (I believe its authentication parameters in WSDL file). That way you can control what "Footprints" can have access to. If no username/password is passed, then automatically the permission of user configured on mid-tier is taken into consideration.

To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Date: Tuesday, April 12, 2011, 3:48 AM Hi, it’s ok! The tool used by my customer is called FootPrints. Do you know it? Do you have any suggestions to create this integration correctly? For example, to use ws have I to define a dedicated user with accurate permissions? Thanks in advance.
