Hi All & TGIF, I have a custom form used for incident management with some records created through a process where an email is sent to an external server, parse into xml and sent through the mid-tier to create the incident. The subject line and body of the email is placed into the incident description field. What I would like to do is parse out the original subject line and place it in a Short Description field. Challenge is I can't figure out how to identify the end of line.
The long term solution would be to modify the email parsing, and the mid-tier web services mapping but for now I need to take this route. Also the short description field is only 75 characters long so I have to not only get the subject line but be able to handle it when there are more than 75 characters. Finally I don't want to just get the first 75 because that is usually an ugly truncate.
