Vincent, In order to have both append, and menu validation, you are going to need to write some sort of subroutine that parses the field and checks to see if each individual component of the field is a member of a value from the field.but you won't be able to do this natively. I would suggest Perl, as it's good at string manipulation.or a relatively complex al/filter guide would be able to do it.
