Huh. I suspect it's the number of digits in your ID that's causing the issue. I seem to recall that 600,000,000 to 999,999,999 is reserved for custom development. Field IDs 599,999,999 and below are for BMC's use, but I don't recall anything about using IDs above 1,000,000,000.
