Oh, yes - the ability to register a site's ftp login and edit files directly without the extra down/up load steps is also a pleasure, particularly for doing quick website work.

This colour-codes the files for easy reading. You can also force it to reload an open file with two mouse clicks. Old log entries can also be removed without having to switch off the logging in Remedy. (This way you keep the log file small & manageable whilst debugging a process.) To configure Notepad++ to use this: 1. Add the userDefineLang.xml file to the Notepad++ install dir 2. You can create a language file for AR log files if you wished. As well as it has some great macro functionality. I have macros that remove an entries that didn't perform work which makes the log file MUCH easier to use. It also allows javascripts also, but I haven't done much with that. There is also a tool out there called Jedit and it is written in java and might allow interface with the Remedy API which would allow some really impressive stuff to be done with a log file. But I haven't really played with that one either.
