Symptoms: tomcat crashes, *CATALINA.OUT:::* - Connects to HOSTNAME:9999 through *Java Rpc failed *with: ERROR (90): Cannot establish a network connection to the AR System server; Connection HOSTNAME:9999
ERROR (90): Cannot establish a network connection to the AR System server; Connection refused HOSTNAME:9999 What I am seeing is the BOLD section above.. PROBLEM: someone coded *JAVA* (*BMC Designer*) to do an NSLOOKUP instead of using local lookup prior to DNS lookup in the JAVA code.. Solution: Ensure you have DNS resolved (and if it is down - well your app no longer works and crashes)... Anyone else see this?
