Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your clarifications,

In my application, we used to modify data values based on syncronization of other records, that time my application is pushing values into required records perfectly with in 2 seconds, after 2 seconds the values are resetting back to old values.
From this I think the transaction values are resetting after 2 seconds.

Please let me know the cache time of any transaction values of the data records in the AR SYSTEM

Thanks & Regards

No – it has nothing to do with record update transactions.

As I understand this is only in reference to caching object changes, i.e. Admin Developer changes you make to the system.

As LJ states in his reply.

Hi Andrew,

In my application configuration file entry it shows the value for the Delay recache time shows only 2. I think this  means that the transaction values will be reset after two seconds for every record updates. please let me know whether my understanding is correct or not.

I believe 5 min delay is the recommended value

Delay-Recache-Time: 300

Ok...no matter the cache mode of the server, when you make a change, the server starts an action to re-cache the objects (differing method depending on your current cache mode)....but basically speaking, while the cache is re-building, you can't make another change to it.  So, when you are making many changes to a system, you don't want it to continually re-cache, so if you set a delay, and then make say 5 changes in 1 min, at the end of the delay, there is a single re-cache instead of 5 of them

Make sense?
