If I may jump in here and come back to Venkat’s initial question, as I believe it is a valid concern. Remember, this is something that would impact Remedy users much sooner than 2038. If, (for example), I have a date field that documents a future event, (such as end-of-life on an asset), It is not inconceivable that I would want to submit a record today, with a future date of Jan, 20, 2038. So, I have two follow-up questions:
Is this something that is unique to the AR Server environment, or are all systems that run on epoch time going to run into the same problem. How *is* BMC going to address this?
