FWIW, we're on AR 7.5 ITSM 7.6. This is more of a general question where a form contains a 'panel holder' with multiple 'panels'. I would like to force which panel (tab) is selected when opening the form as opposed to the first panel (tab) default.

What Ron is describing sounds like a feature of the IT Home Page whereby you can configure different lookups from among the various ITSM modules to appear by default in as many as 4 different tabs. I remember playing around with this feature back when we were working on our initial rollout and were still on the initial version of 7.6.04 and finding it had some quirks to it that made it a less than ideal choice for us, so we eventually recommended that most of our heavy users open the Incident Console by default instead. We have since upgraded to 7.6.04 SP2, and I went back to the IT Home Page just now to remind myself of what the configuration options are. I am not aware of a way to do what he is asking via configuration. If there were an option, it would probably be available via either the Application Preferences or the User Preference record, and I know I don't see it in Application Preferences. Whether it could be done by customization is, of course, another question entirely. I know around here we tend to say, "Anything can be done. It's just a matter of how long you're willing to wait for it." I think you *might* be talking about ITSM, and if so, I *might* know what you're talking about, but without a version number, I can't be certain whether your version should work the same as mine or whether my sharing what I know could benefit you. As you can see here, I created a special email signature for the ARSList and included that information at the bottom. Then, as long as I remember to use the special signature (which I usually do), I don't have to remember to include the application/version in my problem description or question. I know other folks create a special email account they use only for the ARSList, then attach their system info to the signature there and then don't even have to remember to use the special signature. If I have a panel holder with several panels in it, can I choose the default active tab when the form is opened without re-ordering the panels? In other words, I have 4 tabs and when the form is opened, tab 3 becomes the active tab instead of tab 1. Is this making any sense?
