On Solaris we just let the log grow to its set size, once filled the log scrolls off old records from the top. As there are 10x1000's of rows in the log its never been a problem with us loosing relevant information. The Log options provided by BMC allow this to happen automatically and we not needed to resort to log rotation.
However, if needed, its pretty straightforward to set up and use logrotate as mentioned by Ron or even writing your own for those skilled in BASH or C shell command scripts. You can do this with all of the other log files (I believe) like SQL.log, Filter.logs, etc. Maybe create an Idea for this in BMC Communities?
