And not only does drinking water help clean out your kidneys, but it gives your
kidneys the fluids they need to cleanse your system so your liver doesn't have
to. When your liver doesn't have to do the work of your kidneys, it can devote
more energy to (among other things) burning FAT! Given the current obesity
epidemic in many parts of the world, many of us could do with losing some of
that.

Speaking as a person who has lost 90+ lbs in the past 15 months and one who has
been striving since around October to drink 80 - 100 oz. of water and/or herb
tea per day, I can say from personal experience that it makes a positive
difference. I notice that I'm 3-4 lbs lighter over a week when I consistently
meet my goal of 80-100 oz. per day.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] OT: World Kidney Day, drink some water to help clean out
your kidneys

**
Just a note to all: As one who received a new Kidney about a year ago, this is
a day to think about your kidney health.

Remember that as of 2011, one in 10 American adults, more than 20 million, have
some level of kidney disease. Out of that only about 4 million know about it.

Also the average cost per patient to treat (kidney failure or end stage renal
disease) is around $80k per year. And as one who when through the treatments,
they suck.

Leading causes are "diabetes or hypertension"...

So drink some water to help clean out your kidneys.

Howard
